2024 SC Bar Convention FAQs

Can I attend only the Convention receptions/ non-ticketed events?

• Yes. Complete the registration form or register online at the Social/Guest rate ($75) to gain admittance to the Convention receptions/non-ticketed events. This excludes ticketed events and CLE seminars (for credit).

What if I have trouble registering online?

• Contact the SC Bar-CLE Registrar at registrar@scbar.org or call (803) 576-3822.

Can my paralegal/legal assistant attend the Convention?

• Yes! A registration fee has been established for paralegals/legal assistants. Please see the registration form/online registration for all Convention rates.

Do I need to wear my name badge?

• Yes! Your name badge will serve as your “ticket” to the receptions/non-ticketed events and are mandatory to attend.

What is the dress code?

• Business casual dress is encouraged for all events. Room temperatures are monitored as closely as possible, however wearing layers is advised when in seminar rooms.

• Black tie dress attire is required for the SC Bar 50th Anniversary Gala on Saturday, January 18, 2025.
